STATION Light Metal Industries Division (LMI) offers customized cutting services for precision metal forming; an advanced technology in computer numerical control (CNC) system for laser cutting, punching, bending, turning center and metal surface grinding that makes any design achievable right from the first time.

In addition, LMI Division provides other support services for its customers such as Manufacturing Engineering, CAD Design, Project Management, Welding, Supply Chain Management, and Prototypes.

Once an order is booked by the Planning Department reviewing the requirements and verifies inventory prior to placing a material supply advice to our I&C division. Planning Dep. plans, schedules and releases production order as per our clients’ contract requirements. This process is done concurrently to our engineering function of verifying shop drawings and methods used to fabricate. Received material is inspected, received and kitted to the production order & clients’ purchase order. Planning Dep. Monitors work internal processing & on-time delivery informing Sales, Marketing Dep. & Client of constraints that may affect due dates. We can also set up a Just In Time (JIT) Or Kanban deliveries for projects or annual supply contract base.

The first phase of every project entails a prototype. We use prototypes to provide us & our clients with a very simple test to “pre-confirm” the product’s functionality. We commit to achieve total customer support and we aren’t satisfied until our clients are completely satisfied.

Either a client owns the design or needs us to design or draft; it’s all applicable. Changes to drawings, & other documents can originate from the client, Engineering or Manufacturing Department. Procedures are followed to assure that any change is being updated & documented either related to a single or group of documents to implement client-approved changes. This process is initiated by the client and Engineering Dep. at drawing revisions, samples to be manufactured to assure that modifications have met the clients’ requirements and approval. For changes to schedules, cost and other records are the Engineering Dep. responsibility. The Internal Change Process is used to improve Documentation & that Customer had been updated.

Prototypes are the centrepiece to custom part design & development process. Prototype is the 1st phase of every project, it provides us & our clients with a very simple test to “pre-confirm” product functionality. The final approved prototype design also enables us to establish a fixed project budget & delivery schedule. We commit to achieve total customer support & we aren’t satisfied until our clients are completely satisfied.

In addition to the Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication scope, we extend our facilities to our clients for complimentary manufacturing services such as welding, sanding & deburring, packing, and shipping.
